The new European Cybercrime Centre starts operations

As from 11 January the new European Cybercrime Centre will be up and running to help protect European citizens and businesses against cyber-criminal threats. The opening of the European Cybercrime Centre marks a significant shift from how the EU has been addressing cybercrime so far. It will pool expertise and information, support criminal investigations and promote EU-wide solutions, while raising awareness of cybercrime issues across the Union.
